Room for eight, without anyone drawing the short straw.
Four bedrooms across two floors, so two families can share without tripping over each other. Upstairs there’s a king room with its own bathroom and a second bedroom off the common space. Downstairs, two more bedrooms and a second bathroom.
The heart of it is the open downstairs — a dining table big enough for everyone, a breakfast nook for the first coffee of the day, and the living room around the wood stove. Two decks: one off the dining area, one straight out of the queen room.

Washington is a hill town of a few hundred people between Keene and Lake Sunapee. Genuinely rural — but a short drive from everything you’d actually want, and an easy run up from Boston on a Friday night.
